RECOLLECTIONS FROM THE WHARF

We're back from the lovely town of Tavistock.  The Wharf was a great venue, sandwiched between the canal and the river, with an excellent live sound.  With typical bank holiday traffic around, it was a six hour plus journey down there, with some of us barely arriving in time for the soundcheck.  It was also Phil's first experience of using in-ear monitors and was made all the more unnerving due to the fact that someone else's song was still coming through them during our opening number.  He threw them off, but then had to continue without monitors - not so easy.  The Wharf staff had it all sorted by the second number, but I think it threw us all a bit.  Fortunately, the crowd reaction was very warm, which helped settle us down again and we ended up having a very enjoyable evening.  Thanks to everyone who came along on what was a beautiful night with many choices in Tavistock.  One or two of you seemed to know the arrangements very well!

Various bits of gig news...  Firstly, please note that the Bognor gig has been moved to 3rd November.  We've added a couple of other dates too, in Farnborough and Northolt.  See the Live Dates page for further details.  Lastly, tickets are moving pretty fast for the Mick Jagger Centre gig, so if you want to catch us at this one, best hurry to buy your tickets!

Thanks to everyone who came to see us at the Beacon Court. Somehow, despite dropping Local Hero from the set at the last minute, we ran over time. Apologies to those who were shouting for more...we will be back at some point.
