WELCOME PAUL BRINGLOE

24 January 2008

We are pleased to announce that we have found a replacement for Phil in the shape of Paul Bringloe. Paul brings with him a wealth of drumming experience, especially from the world of progressive rock, where his credits include spells with a couple of Genesis tributes as well as a stint with coastal proggers Atacama (which also featured Jon on bass). Having just had his first rehearsal with us, Paul makes his live debut with us at Brandon on 2nd February. It should be a fun evening!

PHIL LOVETT DECIDES TO LEAVE

07 January 2008

After just over a year of drumming for us, we are sorry to announce that Phil Lovett has decided to leave Dire Fakes.  Phil was finding that playing in two bands and having a full time job was just a bit too demanding on his time.  We’d like to thank Phil for all the hard work he put in and we wish him all the best for the future.  Indeed, Phil is not hanging up his sticks and will still be performing with The Fred Slater Band.  The search is on for a replacement for Phil.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

24 December 2007

You may have noticed a slight winding down in Dire Fakes activities in the run up to Christmas.  This was mainly due to one or two members taking a well earned break.  Do not fear, we will be returning in the New Year, wonderfully refreshed and with, astoundingly, a few new additions to the set.

In the meantime, Dire Fakes would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and to thank you for all your support in 2007.  See you in 2008!
